Hojicha is green tea transformed by fire. Where matcha is delicate and grassy, hojicha is deep, roasted, and warming — its leaves slow-roasted at high temperature until they turn a rich reddish-brown and release a nutty, almost caramel aroma that fills the room.
The roasting process dramatically reduces caffeine content, making hojicha one of the few teas you can enjoy late in the day without disturbing your sleep. It's soothing, smooth, and free from the astringency that puts people off green tea.
Our hojicha is sourced from the same trusted Japanese farms as our matcha range — organically grown and carefully selected. It's a different kind of ritual: slower, quieter, and perfect for unwinding.

Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original, sealed condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene and food safety reasons. If you’re unsure whether a product is right for you, please get in touch before purchasing — we’re happy to answer any questions.
Damaged or incorrect orders — if your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with a photo and your order number. We’ll resolve it promptly with a replacement or full refund.
